MOLD (yech!) & a FABULOUS shower cleaner

This morning I rolled over to look at my daughter in bed (co-sleeper, guilty!) and I noticed green fuzzy dots on the windowsill behind the bed. Mold. Gross. Luckily, I had just clipped out a recipe for all-natural mold & mildew cleaner from the newspaper. I mixed it up and sprayed it on my windowsill and then for good measure I sprayed down the inside of my shower. Can't hurt, right? Turns out - this cleaner is the bomb! It cleaned my shower -no problem; better than many of the chemical-laden cleaners I've used in the past. Just spray it on, let it soak in, then use a sponge or cloth to wipe it off. I've found that a worn out shower poof works wonders while cleaning. If your shower is really dirty you can put some baking soda on your poof and scrub-a-dub-dub after letting the cleaner soak in. It will be sparkling in no time. Here is the recipe - the first of many in an all-natural cleaning arsenal. Try it on your shower today!

Fabulous All-Natural Mold & Mildew Cleaner

2 cups water

1 teaspoon all purpose soap (I used Dr. Bronners mild)

2 teaspoons tea tree oil

Mix it up in an empty spray bottle and keep it in your bathroom. Happy cleaning!
